My name is Rob Palmer.  In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three kids.  I have a 5-year-old daughter, a 4-year-old son, and a 2-year-old daughter.  They keep me active, on the go, entertained, challenged, convicted, but overall honored and satisfied to have the privilege to train, develop, and love these children.  I hope that one day, they will have the opportunity to do the same thing for their children.

I was born in Oklahoma City, OK.  Then I moved to Birmingham, AL, where I spent most of my childhood. At the age of 16, I moved to Dayton, TN.  After graduating from Rhea County High, I attended Bryan College and earned a B.A. in Communication Arts.  Several years later, I graduated from Tennessee State University with a M.S. in Speech and Hearing Sciences.

Since then, I have used my specialized skills to help a variety of individuals improve their communicative abilities.  I believe one of the most imperative lessons I can teach is the importance of self-value.  Every person has an important message.  We all have thoughts, desires, and needs that we wish to share.  By empowering each student with the confidence that what they say matters, even the small things, they develop a personal drive to improve their communication.

This year, I will be providing services primarily to 2nd – 5th grade students.
