Ms. Rachel Hill

Hello My Name Is Rachel Hill!

This will be the start of my 6th year teaching intensified instruction, my 4th year at East Brainerd! I have been working with persons of various needs throughout my entire life. I have a daughter with disabilities who attends East Brainerd Elementary in the other intensified instruction class. My Aunt was disabled and lived with us until she passed away. Growing up, I volunteered at a camp for kids with disabilities each summer  for numerous years until I was hired as a camp counselor. I began tube feeding students at the age of 16. Growing up, I also worked at Mother's Day Out programs for pre-school kids with disabilities on weekends, as well as helping with the adult program with dances or whatever was needed. I currently have my Bachelors in Exceptional Education K-12 from UTC and searching for the perfect Graduate program to continue my studies. I have 4 dogs, two of them are therapy Golden Retrievers, two of them are Maltese.

I can't wait to see what fun and exciting adventures that our class will have during the 2018-2019 school year! If you need to get a hold of me, my email is, classroom phone is 423-855-2600 x 32870. If you have my cell number, you can text me there (phone is finally fixed!)

Supply list was sent home in May, if you need another copy please let me know and I will send you a picture via text.

If you need any medical forms for medicine or tube feedings, and you can't find the ones sent home in May, here are the links to the forms online.

If possible, please have them ready prior to school starting. If this is not possible (and we 100% understand), we will have extra forms at registration for you to fill out and we will fax to the doctor for you. Your child can NOT be tube fed or administered medicine WITHOUT these forms.
